Student supervision
Programmes are staffed to a recommended student-to-staff ratio of 8:1, with supervision arrangements agreed with the school before departure and adjusted for age, destination and activity.
Safeguarding
When students travel, their safety comes first
Educational travel comes with responsibility. Student welfare, safeguarding, supervision, risk management and documentation are built into our planning from the outset — so schools can travel with confidence.
Chaperone orientation & training
Accompanying staff receive an orientation covering roles, expectations, daily routines, escalation routes and the specific risks of the destination and activities.
Risk assessment
Each programme is assessed activity by activity — transport, accommodation, venues, excursions and free time — with mitigations documented and shared with the school for its own records.
Student documentation
Consent forms, medical and dietary information, emergency contacts, passport and visa records are collected, checked and carried in a form accompanying staff can access when needed.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive cover is arranged for every traveller. Policy documentation is provided to the school in advance so it can be reviewed and shared with parents.
Emergency procedures
Every programme has a documented escalation procedure and a Chareat point of contact reachable around the clock for the duration of the journey.

Documentation your school can file
Schools are accountable to parents, governors and inspectors for the trips they run. Our programme packs include the risk assessment, supervision plan, insurance documentation and itinerary in a form your school can file and share directly.
